Mariachi Los Patriotas

Harris Elementary is proud to introduce Mariachi Los Patriotas, our first-ever Aldine ISD elementary mariachi group!

Made up of 2nd-5th graders, this after-school ensemble that also meets in the mornings before school is led by Ms. Koepp, mariachi director and general music teacher, with Mr. Casares serving as clinician for guitarrón, vihuela, and guitar.

What began in fall 2023 as a small violin club has grown into a lively, full mariachi ensemble, bringing music, culture, and joy to our school community!
