A school bus tracking app for parents

Here Comes The Bus – Receive Text Alerts​

Parents and students can use the app to:

  • Locate your child’s bus stop
  • Monitor scheduled and actual bus arrival times at home and at school
  • Receive text and email alerts when:
    • Bus has entered the radius around the home stop
    • Bus has been substituted
    • Your Child has scanned on and off the bus

Here Comes the Bus is available in English, Spanish and French. Download the Here Comes the Bus app from the App Store or Google Play.

How to get started

  1. Download the Here Comes the Bus app or visit HereComesTheBus.com
  2. Click the [SIGN UP] button
  3. Enter school code 84000 and click “Next” followed by “Confirm”
  4. Complete the “User Profile” box
  5. Under, “My Students”, click “Add”. Enter your child’s last name and student ID.
  6. Once you confirm your information, you are ready to begin using Here Comes the Bus!

Additional information parents need to know

  • The app tracks the bus route, not the student.
  • Bus route information is based on the student’s residential address.
  • The app will not provide information for Saturday school, extended day, and tutorial routes.
  • Students are expected to be at their bus stop at the time designated by the driver or school. On occasion, a different driver and bus may be sent to cover a route. Parents may not receive notifications when this happens.
  • The app is available to most campuses and programs. However, there are some exceptions.
